At this point, you are probably questioning as to why this blog exists, let alone why you are spending your valuable time intently staring at the computer screen reading each word.
Well, as you may know, or as you may not know (whatever fits you best) I am embarking on a wonderful adventure.
This summer I will be living on the road, traveling with a team of passionate people as we all work toward raising awareness for the Got Your Back Movement and its efforts to “restore purpose, give hope and show love.”  Throughout the world, around 70 million school-aged children are not in school.  We hope to change that.  GYB provides uniforms for children, who without uniforms, would not be allowed to attend school.  With projects in Haiti, Kenya and Kentucky, the movement has already impacted many lives.
I shall be traveling the United States and living in an RV, Reggie Valentine I believe he is called, and I just know that there will be many stories to share.  Thus, the reason why you might want to continue reading this blog.
I have been told that the joy of life is in the journey.
Wholeheartedly believing that this is true, I believe I have signed onto a whirlwind of an adventure.
This is exactly where God wants me to be, and I would be honored to share my journey with you.

About:

Hi. I'm Elyse.
I love God, and I love people.
I work terribly hard, and I am passionate about quite a few things.
A few of those include, but are not limited to: my faith, my family and serving others.

Professionaly, I talk to/inform/encourage people. On occasion what I do involves making pretty things, reading fantastic literature, discovering passions and creating insanely thorough media/marketing/communication plans.

Personally, I practice dreaming, adventuring, theatre, photography, storytelling and smiling. I smile a bunch.

Hi.
